COMPLEXITIES OF LOVE
I read a book coming into the new year that shared the importance of giving more than we take. Fundamentally, for me, that’s what love has looked like.
Love can be nuanced, vulnerable, and selfless. While at the same time, it is the most abundant thing we get to experience and offer during our time here on earth. In my opinion, it takes clear intention, balanced effort, and two open hearts to sustain it.
The beauty of love is how it helps us return to and see ourselves more clearly. Revolutionary times require revolutionary love, and that takes work. The gray moments are pillars of growth, choice, and commitment, to seeing the love through.

SOMETHING GOOD
A tribute to a late childhood friend who I idolized and accomplished a lot in a very short time, in lieu of many hardships. Through it all, I wish they were still here, to know something good was eventually on the other side.
